Kindergarten Awards

Today the parents were invited to school to watch the kindergarteners get presented with some end of year awards. They worked hard in preparing a presentation for the parents. They sang a song, then they spelled out kindergarten and read a few words that represented each letter in pairs.

Then the teacher read a little something about each child, including their favorite kindergarten activity, subject and what they wanted to do when they grew up. Her class had eye doctors, teachers, and rock stars!! A few even wanted to be their daddy so they could tell people what to do!! :)

Hannah's favorite subject was writing because she likes to write sentences.

Her favorite kindergarten experience was going on the field trip to see th play Alice in Wonderland.

When she grows up, she wants to be an artist because she likes to draw!

After the awards, we had a picnic lunch on the playground. What a fun way to end the school year.
