Hannah had a great picture in her mind about her costume and what it would look like. She wanted to be a "disco" granny, but she settled for "Mamaw" instead. Just to note, none of them would have looked so awesome had it not been for my amazing MOTHER IN LAW who went to Walmart and Claire's on Halloween to get some "accessories"! For Hannah, she grabbed so disco ball earrings, glasses and hair color (white and gray).. She kinda looks like Maxine from the Hallmark cards!
Sarah loves to dress up! She wanted to be a ballerina but then when we got to all the ballet clothes she saw Hannah's costume for "Girls just wanna have fun" and she decided to be Cindy Lauper.. (i think 80's rock star is in bc i saw a few of those floating around on facebook...so fun).. The glasses and beads were courtesy of Grandma... :)
I just loved seeing my kids's original costumes.. Truly, we didn't put much time into it.. It kinda fell together!
So this guy! Argh this boy! So I had this brilliant idea that bubba should be batman and i'll paint him the "batmobile" with his push toy! I thought it was brilliant and it was totally a pinterest idea! So he put it on and he was totally scared.. take it off me NOW mama! So i was a good mama and let him be elmo from last year! All my crafty hopes and dreams shattered, here's my cute boy!!
We spent Halloween at a friend's house like we did 2 years ago. We had to miss last year because my kids had LICE **EWWWWWWW* We forgot to get a group picture which is a big bummer....
What a fun night!!
