50th day of 1st Grade!

Today is the 50th day of school. The kids made a 50th day record and the 1st graders parade around the school.  Hannah really wanted a poodle skirt, but she mentioned that to me at about oh.. 7 pm last night. So she was out of luck. She went with rolled up jeans, a white shirt, pony tail and lots of make up...

She was funny because all morning, she complained that button down shirts were for boys! We tried to explain to her boys didn't wear their shirts with knots in the front and a lace undershirt underneath. Until we put on her makeup and color changing nailpolish, we had to hear her complain. She finally felt like a girl with gobs of purple eyeshadow!
