Happy Halloween 2009

We celebrated Halloween all day this year. Maw, Mamaw and Papaw, Sharla and her family and even the twins (for a short while) came over to celebrate... here are the highlights..

Our only picture of Hannah Montana and the Ballerina! They were so excited.

The day started off with playing with the twins. JPat decided to put on a cooking show with his new grill, so we made a big lunch.  Later, Sharla and Noel, and his parents came over. We ate gumbo and then went trick or treating with our neighbors. It was fun.

While the house trick or treated, Papaw made his famous hot chocolate and I passed out candy! What fun. We were totally OUT (of 11 bags of candy) by 8 pm... it was fun.  I got to see some interesting things, including a party of trick or treaters and their parents who walked around the neighborhood with 2 coolers...Oh and Hannah was handing out candy and this pair of adults waited (without children) for her to pass them some.. huh?  What a night!

Hannah had a blast trick or treating with John David, our neighbor and her friend in 1st grade. Then the two had a good time passing out candy! Sarah and Kayla went with Maw and Sharla. Towards the end, they hit some very enthusiastic houses. The end came when one lady opened her door and said boo. The girls screamed and got even louder as a fake spider landed on Kayla's shoulder!
