Hurricane Fun

This post is very very late. Please bear with me. I have about a million posts to do, so they will be coming fast and furious! The last few weeks have been crazy around Houston, to say the least!

Although the hurricane was devastating for some, for us, it was a welcomed week off from school. It was a week of beautiful weather, lots of trips to the park and hanging out with friends. It brought us back to our "pre" kindergarten days... when waking up, and homework, and lunch didn't rule our lives....

Literally right before the hurricane, we had some friends come over and hang out. Here's a few pictures from that!

Mr. Chuck helping Hannah slide the monkey bar thingy. She's always nervous to do this, but she got the nerves after her friend, Taylor did it.

Taylor came over to play. It had been so long, or at least felt that way! The girls and I rolled out some sugar cookies. That night, all the kids had a blast decorating and eating them after dinner.

While we didn't really want the hurricane, we sure had a blast making the most of it.
