Back To School 2012 - Sarah

Sarah started first grade Monday! She was so excited that she was squealing.... how cute is that..

Her backpack.. poor Sarah..we've been too cheap to buy her a new one when her old ones are perfectly fine.... Next year sweet girl!

We drove to school and had to park a 1/2 mile away and walk!

Sweet girl had a great first day. The second day was great until she rode the bus home for the first time... she got hit in the eye... a punk kid just punched her.... i called the school and they dealt with it quickly....hopefully it won't ever happen again..but I know that bullying is bound to happen! Yuck.

Today ended in her getting her allergy testing...we hadn't been back to our allergist in years. She had a whole bunch of allergies but only tested positive to Dogs, Cats and Pollen. Her peanut stuff seems to be gone. To be sure though, they will do a "peanut challenge" where we bring some Peanut Butter to their office, and she eats it and they moniter her... After that, she will have some specific pollen tests... YUCK! 

She was a trooper for someone who got 24 pricks to the back!

For the record, her smiling pics are before the tests..her afters are too sad to post... the day ended with me getting her a giant Cherry Limeade and a new movie to watch.. I generally don't bribe my kids, but it was AWful to watch...

anyway... looking forward to a great school year!
