Please Pray!!!

One of our good friends (and JPat's college roommates) Mark is really sick. He is a missionary in Honduras. For the past six years, he and his sweet wife Michelle, has dedicated his life to serving God in Honduras. Yesterday, Mark was diagnosed with Dengue Fever. It is viral disease that no only has no vaccine, but has a really painful and long recovery process. It is also called "Break bone" Fever..because it feels like your bones are breaking! There are two forms of Dengue Fever. As of yet, Michelle didn't know what form Mark has. One form is really really bad including hemorraging, bleeding (from eyes i'm told) etc. Mark and Michelle have two young children who aren't really comprehending what is going on. To top it off, their car in Honduras is in the shop. Mark has to go to the doctor everyday so they can moniter his blood platelets. Pray for full and quick recovery. Pray for patience and strength for Michelle and Mark's family here. Pray for full provisions that they may need. Pray that Mark has the "not as horrible" type of the virus. Pray that they get all the "help" they need! Pray for Mark's mom and peace and strength on her part, as she is here in the states. Pray for reasonably priced plane tickets, should someone need to fly down there for help. Oh, I could go on and on. This sweet family has truly given up the "American Dream" to serve the God they love and trust. Please join us in praying!!!
